Lächel und Inspiriere
One of the first impressions a foreigner experiences when arriving in Germany is the lack of smiling faces. And many international visitors wonder about the relatively serious expressions extended towards them on the street, in the tram or whilst shopping.
So many German friends and aquaintances tell me that they feel the same. German tourists encounter strangers from other cultures smiling at them whilst they are on vacation. So many of them say they would love it if they experienced it at home. So why don't we bring that feeling back to our neighbourhoods?
